At Kinderland International Preschool @ Toul Tumpong, we proudly celebrated World Health Day and Earth Day—two important global events that promote well-being and environmental responsibility. Through a series of engaging, hands-on activities, our young learners had the opportunity to explore what it means to care for themselves and the world.

The dentist emphasized on the importance of brushing teeth daily.

Nursery students learnt the proper way to brush their teeth.
In honour of World Health Day, we welcomed a guest dentist who led an interactive session on oral hygiene, teaching students the value of brushing regularly and visiting the dentist. Children enjoyed an interactive brushing activity using printed tooth models and disposable toothbrushes to practice proper brushing techniques.

Kindergarten children learnt to trim fingernails in an interactive manner.
To reinforce personal grooming, Kindergarten children participated in a playful nail-cutting activity. They held inflated gloves as hands to cut colourful “paper nails”, to learn the importance of keeping fingernails clean and trimmed as part of good hygiene.
Meanwhile, to celebrate Earth Day, students created meaningful handprint art in the shape of the globe, reminding them that every helping hand makes a difference in caring for our Earth.

Nursery students enjoyed hand printing on the globe.

Kindergarten 1 (K1) students collected and sorted out garbage accordingly.
In a practical trash-sorting activity, students learnt how to distinguish between recyclable, reusable, and reducible materials—instilling the 3Rs and early habits of mindful waste management.

Kindergarten Two (K2) students enjoyed planting mango seed in a cup.

Happy preschoolers learned about Earth Day and showcased their work of art.
They also took part in planting seeds, a hands-on experience with nature while learning about the essential role of plants in maintaining a healthy environment.
These activities not only sparked interest but also instilled valuable life lessons in health and sustainability, helping our children grow into caring, responsible citizens of the world.
