World Food Day at Kinderland Cambodia was a colourful feast filled with flavours, laughter and discoveries! Each class embarked on a delicious journey around the world, exploring different countries through hands-on cooking and creative activities that made learning interesting and meaningful.

Our little pre-nursery chefs travelled to Japan where they learnt about the importance of rice and joyfully made their own sushi rolls. With their curious fingers rolling, pressing and arranging fresh and vibrant ingredients, they created delicious masterpieces to share and enjoy. They also learnt that rice is an important part of Japanese family meals, which helped them understand the importance of food and spending time together. 🍣

The nursery children explored the vibrant culture of India, where they discovered the magic of spices and learnt how food brings families together. They joyfully prepared soft prata and bhindi sabji as part of an Indian meal, then created engaging thali plate crafts to showcase their learning. The highlight was savouring the freshly prepared warm roti—celebrating the rich flavours and cultural traditions of India with smiles all around! 🌶️

In Kindergarten One (K1), students discovered the vibrant flavours of Mexico by preparing their own fajitas! Each child took turns scooping fresh ingredients onto tortillas before folding and rolling them with care. The class was filled with excitement as they enjoyed every delicious bite while learning about cooperation and appreciation of other cultures. 🌮

Finally, Kindergarten Two (K2) students journeyed to Italy to make their very own pizzas! They wore paper chef hats and made unique pizza masterpieces that showed off their creativity, teamwork and pride. 🍕
