As advised by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Cambodia (MOEYSC), all public and private schools in Phnom Penh will be temporarily closed from 15 March 2020 until further notice. Kinderland International Preschool @ Cambodia was of no exception. This decision by MOEYSC was made due to the outbreak of COVID-19.
Our students and teachers’ safety is our highest priority. Kinderland stepped-up on our precautionary measures in efforts to curb the spread of this notorious virus.
Despite the vulnerable situation, Kinderland stayed committed to providing our children with a continuous and meaningful learning through alternative platforms. Teachers streamed live videos in virtual classes where our children worked on learning materials immediately upon teachers’ instructions. This made the new learning process fun and effective, with subjects such as English, Science, Maths and Chinese. Learning materials were pre-delivered in hard and soft copies. There were also additional learning materials such as virtual quizzes, e-books and more delivered via digital platforms.

Kinderland’s E-learning continues to nurture our children’s high learning potential in a fun and engaging way. Educational platforms and software were provided to help children remember information better, motivate and support them physically and mentally and foster social interaction when working in a virtual group.
