On 14 December2024, the vibrant city of Phnom Penh celebrated the grand opening of Kinderland International Preschool’s second campus in the bustling district of Toul Kork. This milestone follows the success of its first campus in Toul Tom Poung.This momentous event marked a significant milestone in early childhood education, bringing Kinderland’s renowned curriculum and nurturing environment to families in Cambodia.

The highlight of the day was the ribbon-cutting ceremony, symbolising the official commencement of Kinderland’s journey in Cambodia. Esteemed guests, including local dignitaries, educators, and parents, gathered to witness this special moment. The ribbons were cut by our esteemed guests, including H.E. Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Education, Youth and Sports (MoEYS) Cambodia, and Royal Highness Princess Norodom Rattana Devi, Ms. Bernice Seow, Pheatheary II, Singapore Embassy in Cambodia. Alongside our school’s managing director, Mr. Junyong Wang; Mr. Robert Leong, Group Chief Operation Officer, Crestar Education Group (Singapore); and the Chairman of I.S.E or I.S.E. Education (Cambodia).

The grand opening coincided with the festive season, adding an extra layer of joy to the event. The students of Kinderland Cambodia showcased their talents through delightful Christmas presentations. The nursery students charmed the audience with an adorable dance, shaking maracas to the rhythm of cheerful tunes. Following this, the Kindergarten Two students took the stage and dazzled everyone with their tambourine dance, which was both lively and heartwarming. Finally, the Kindergarten One students displayed their musical skills by playing the keyboards, tambourine and triangle, filling the air with enchanting melodies. These performances not only celebrated the spirit of Christmas but also highlighted Kinderland’s focus on nurturing creativity and confidence in young learners.

The day concluded with a festive Christmas market set up within the campus. Families and guests enjoyed browsing through a variety of stalls offering handmade crafts, delicious treats, and fun challenges. The market provided a perfect opportunity for the community to come together, celebrate, and create lasting memories.
