At Kinderland Preschool@ Toul Tumpong, we believe in nurturing young minds with values of respect, appreciation, and equality. This month, we celebrated International Women’s Day with engaging and meaningful activities that allowed our children to express gratitude for the important women in their lives.

Our creative Nursery children proudly showcased their hand-made paper flower baskets!

The children participated in fun games, promoting teamwork and joy while reinforcing the idea that both boys and girls can achieve anything together. They also created beautiful baskets, posters, and flower cards, filled with heartfelt messages for their mothers, teachers, and other inspiring women around them. These hands-on activities not only sparked creativity but also taught the children the value of appreciation and kindness.

The children learned to appreciate each other through teamwork while playing games during the celebration.

Celebrating International Women’s Day with children is an important learning experience. It helps them understand the significance of gender equality from an early age, instilling values of respect, gratitude, and inclusivity. Through these activities, they learn to appreciate the strength, resilience, and contributions of women in their families and communities. Additionally, making and giving gifts fosters empathy and generosity, essential traits for their social and emotional development.

By engaging in this celebration, we are empowering young minds to recognise and honour the role of women in society, creating a generation that values equality and respect. We wish all women around the world, “Happy International Women’s Day!”
