Kinderland International Preschool Cambodia was delighted to introduce the 2025 Winter Camp—an exciting week of hands-on seasonal experiences, imaginative play and joyful learning. Our pre-nursery and nursery children explored the wonders of winter through themed sensory activities, including penguin playtime, snowman fun and simple “snow” experiments using foam and sand. They took part in engaging tasks such as waddling games, letter-scooping activities, mystery sensory bins and soft snowball play. These experiences sparked curiosity while strengthening early motor skills, offering our young learners a warm and playful introduction to the winter season.

Nursery children decorated their Christmas trees by painting colourful lights.
Throughout the week, pre-nursery and nursery students also participated in creative art and craft activities aligned with each day’s theme. They made penguin footprint art, decorated mini-Christmas trees, created paper mittens and enjoyed decorating cookies with sprinkles. Storytime highlighted winter tales featuring penguins, snow friends and festive adventures, helping to build imagination and early language skills. Themed movement games, role-play and simple discovery activities added extra excitement to their mornings.

The Winter Explorers Programme blended winter-themed learning with active exploration for our Kindergarten One and Two (K1 and K2) children. Each day featured physical activities such as reindeer obstacle courses, snowball soccer, sack races and Christmas tree balance challenges supporting coordination, teamwork and confidence. Creative play and themed projects encouraged children to design winter crafts, including ornaments, animal masks, snowflake prints, Christmas trees and bright candy-cane art.
