On February 13, 2026, Kinderland came alive with the vibrant colours of the Chinese New Year as students immersed themselves in Chinese culture. The school was filled with excitement as students arrived, dressed in vibrant traditional Chinese costumes, ready for a day filled with cultural exploration and enjoyment. The festivities commenced with a lively photoshoot, capturing the children’s joy for the day. Students from every class proudly showcased their beautiful outfits, setting a festive tone for the celebrations.

Each class participated in unique activities highlighting different aspects of Chinese culture. The pre-nursery class enjoyed a creative session of Chinese arts and crafts, with little hands eagerly crafting traditional items.

In the Nursery Class, students made mooncake fridge magnets using polymer clay. This hands-on activity introduced them to the significance of mooncakes in Chinese culture and enabled them to create cherished keepsakes.

The Kindergarten One (K1) and Kindergarten Two (K2) classes embarked on a culinary adventure, making dumplings that symbolised prosperity in Chinese culture. Engaging in this cultural tradition, the young chefs learned the art of dumpling-making, embracing rich symbolism in family unity. This hands-on experience fostered respect for Chinese traditions, deepening their understanding and curiosity about different ethnic cultures.
