On 12th March, Kinderland came alive with creativity and discovery during its STEAM Day, an exciting celebration of science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics! Hands-on activities filled the day, igniting curiosity, inspiring innovation and bringing learning to life for our young learners.

Rainbow creation with pre-nursery class
Our Pre-Nursery children explored the wonders of science by creating a vibrant rainbow on a paper cloud. Using the science of water solubility, the children blended colours with care and delight, watching with amazement as the hues were mixed to form their magical rainbow masterpieces.

The Nursery class designed 3D structures using simple shapes
The nursery class put on their engineer’s hats and explored how simple shapes can become structures. They experimented with balance, stability and design, learning how everyday engineering principles can transform basic shapes into strong and creative constructions.

Following Botley’s pathway in Kindergarten 1
In Kindergarten 1, young tech enthusiasts took on an exciting challenge with the robot Botley. Using technology and coding concepts, they carefully planned and traced Botley’s path, transforming the robot’s journey into unique and imaginative drawings. This activity showcased how technology can be used as a creative tool, bridging fun with learning.

Kindergarten 2 created their unique Fibonacci sequence designs
Meanwhile, Kindergarten 2 children explored the mathematical magic of the Fibonacci sequence, a pattern found throughout nature. Each child designed their own intricate, unique pattern within the sequence, discovering that mathematics is not just numbers but also a key to understanding the beauty in the world around us.

Pre-Nursery Smiles for STEAM Day
STEAM Day at Kinderland was more than just a series of activities—it was an adventure in creativity, critical thinking and exploration. From mixing colours to building structures, coding robots and uncovering nature’s patterns, our learners experienced firsthand how curiosity and imagination can transform learning into a thrilling discovery.
