Family Fun Day: Strengthening Bonds Between Families and School

On 23^rd April 2026, Kinderland International Preschool Cambodia hosted a heartwarming Family Fun Day, bringing parents, grandparents and children together for a morning filled with joy, laughter and memorable experiences. The event began with a warm welcome by Mr Brenton Toh, our principal, as families arrived and enjoyed light background music and casual interactions with staff.

The highlight of the morning was a special video presentation featuring children’s heartfelt messages to their parents and grandparents, celebrating the unique bond they share. Each clip captured the children’s gratitude, love and appreciation, leaving parents and grandparents deeply moved. Adding to the experience, the children also prepared handmade picture frames for their loved ones, making the occasion even more meaningful. Following the presentation, families joined in photo-taking and gift exchanges, creating lasting memories and strengthening the connection between the school and home.

The main segment featured a series of engaging activity stations. Families enjoyed games such as the Family Race, Family 3-Legged Race and Daddy’s Cookie Challenge, dancing chairs and Father and Mother’s Memory Lane. Each activity encouraged teamwork, laughter and interactive learning, offering families a playful environment to bond deeply with their children.

The morning concluded with refreshments and social time, allowing families to relax, mingle and capture more joyful moments through photos. Beyond the fun, these bonding activities reinforced connections between the school and families, creating a supportive, inclusive community. Parents expressed delight in engaging closely with their children, particularly moved by the thoughtful video clips honouring family ties, including grandparents.
