Kinderland International Preschool @ Cambodia’s Summer Programme, Little Innovators & Explorers, gave children with two exciting weeks of hands-on learning, creativity and discovery. Through a thoughtfully curated programme of activities, children explored new ideas, developed practical skills and gained confidence while enjoying meaningful interactions with their friends and teachers. Every activity encouraged learning through exploration, experimentation and purposeful play in a fun and nurturing environment.

The programme introduced children to a diverse range of experiences across gardening, cooking, science, engineering, art and design. They explored nature by decorating plant pots, planting herbs, building mini greenhouses and discovering how about plant growth, nurturing both curiosity and an appreciation for the environment. In the kitchen, children prepared yoghurt parfaits, pizzas, cookies, pancakes and cupcakes, developing teamwork, independence and the ability to follow simple instructions.

Building on their spirit of curiosity, science and engineering activities encouraged children to investigate how things work through hands-on experimentation. They explored sound and vibration by creating simple musical instruments, participating in sound recognition games and producing sound-inspired artwork. Meanwhile, engineering challenges such as bridge building, cardboard city construction and water wheel experiments, strengthened problem-solving, creativity and critical-thinking skills.

Children also expressed their creativity through a wide range of artistic experiences, including pottery, fabric printing, nature printing, bubble wrap art, sponge printing, photography projects, frame design and 3D pen creations. These activities fostered self-expression while enhancing imagination and fine motor development.

Beyong the classroom, physical activities such as relay races, basketball, bowling, bubble play and collaborative construction projects promoted teamwork, communication and perseverance. Together, these experiences helped children gain confidence, resilience and positive social skills.
Kinderland Cambodia’s Little Innovators & Explorers Summer Programme provided a meaningful and enriching holiday experience, which inspired children to explore, create and discover while nurturing curiosity, independence and a lifelong love of learning. The programme concluded with joyful memories, new friendships and meaningful learning experiences that will continue to inspire every child’s support each child’s growth and development.
